  Brief Biography of Tbilisi
Tbilisi is the capital and largest city of Georgia, with a history that has been influenced by many civilizations over the centuries. In the 19th century, Tbilisi was incorporated into the Russian Empire. During the Soviet era, it became a significant industrial center, and after gaining independence in 1991, Tbilisi has continued to develop as a modern metropolis.
