Georgia Entry Procedures – 2026
Georgia offers a simple and traveler-friendly entry policy for international visitors.
Most travelers can enter Georgia visa-free for up to 365 days depending on their nationality. Visitors only need a valid passport.
Upon arrival in Georgia, travelers may be asked to provide:
• A valid passport (recommended at least 6 months validity)
• Return or onward travel ticket
• Proof of accommodation (hotel reservation or invitation)
• Travel insurance (recommended but not mandatory)
• Proof of sufficient financial means for the stay
Immigration officers may ask a few routine questions regarding the purpose of travel.
Entry procedures at Tbilisi International Airport, Kutaisi Airport, Batumi Airport and land borders are usually fast and efficient.
Travelers who want a faster and more comfortable airport experience can also use CIP / VIP airport services.
